Welcome rodeo fans and contestants!

On behalf of the Board of Directors, it is with pleasure that I welcome you all to the Auburn Wild West Stampede.

I am confident that this year's PRCA Rodeo will be a huge success as it has been in the past. Auburn has a long tradition of rodeos, dating back to the early days when cattle drives passed through our community.

The Auburn Rodeo can always expect a large turnout, as you the fans, contestants and sponsors contribute to the excitement of this thrilling sport. We thank the thousands of fans who purchase tickets, the contestants who display extraordinary skill, the sponsors who lend their support, and the many volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to assure that our professional rodeo is a success.

I wish good luck to the contestants, and I encourage you, the fans, to relax and enjoy the fun. We look forward to having you back this year and for many years to come.
