Mutton Bustin' is a sport for youngsters who think it's great fun to be a cowboy. Donning a helmet instead of a cowboy hat, they climb onto the back of a wild and woolly sheep and hang on for the ride. The youngster who hangs on for the best ride is the winner in each age group; but they all have a blast along with the crowd that cheers wildly for each Buster. Kids must pre-register to participate. Rodeo clowns, here for the Bull Riding later on, get in on the action and keep it safe and fun for the little ones. Best Dressed winners will receive Wranglers Jeans and Justin Boots. Mutton Bustin' is held at 1:00 PM, on both Saturday and Sunday, just prior to the PRCA rodeo. A Rodeo ticket is required for spectators.
