Hello everyone, and thank you for checking out the Auburn Stampede website. My name is Elizabeth Daffner, your 2006 Miss Auburn Stampede Queen.

I am 21 years old and reside in Loomis, CA with my two horses, Shadow and Shotgun. I attend Sierra College, were I have just completed my degree in Liberal Arts, and am looking forward to transferring to a four year University to obtain my bachelors in Business.

In between working as a waitress and training Shotgun, my three year old quarterhorse for reining, I enjoy staying active. Whether its giving riding lessons or dabbling in different mediums of art, I never have trouble staying busy.

As Miss Auburn I hope to be a model for young children, especially those who have been diagnosed as horse crazy! My love for horses started at a young age, and I was lucky enough to have parents that gave in to my obsession with love and support.

I have been riding since age five, and enjoy the challenge that horses bring to my life. A person could spend a hundred years living and learning from horses and still not know all there is to know. If you see me riding around, please say hi -- my two geldings can always use some extra love. Hope I see you in town or better yet, at the Auburn Rodeo!
